Keep the Kids Warm and Worn :: A Guide to Indoor Fun for Kids in Northern Colorado

All of the information sourced in this guide is subject to change. Please make sure to check the websites or contact each location to verify dates, times, and availability!

The timer has gone off on their screen time, you’ve “nailed it” on every kid craft you can find on Pinterest, you have dance partied your socks off and ALL the playdough is that disgusting, mixed together booger green. It’s time for a new wear them out during the cold months game plan. We got your back, mama!

Colorado is an amazing state. There are over 300 days of sunshine a year, which usually means that with enough layers of clothing, we can still send our children outside to play. However, the winter months can be difficult keeping your kids entertained when everyone, yourself included, starts to get a mean case of cabin fever.

For those days when you NEED to get out of the house for more than the 15-20 minutes that your littles (and you) can stand the cold, Northern Colorado has a lot of fun indoor activities to get us through! Our libraries rock, our coffee houses and breweries get it and our rec centers are ready for your kids to wreck it! We also have a ton of unique venues ready to take on the warm and worn challenge with your children this winter. Check out this guide for the details!

{This of course isn’t everything, so if we forgot an activity, help a Mama out and fill out the form below – we’ll get it added in right away!}
